  • Athletes will complete three 500m laps of the Glynmill Inn Pond.
  • Athletes will run up mats to the transition area (Sir Richard Squires Building parking lot).
  • Team participants will hand off the timing chip in the transition area.
Sprint Triathlon & Sprint Distance Team Events
  • Athletes will complete one 500m lap of the Glynmill Inn Pond.
  • Athletes will run up mats to the transition area (Sir Richard Squires Building parking lot).
  • Team participants will hand off the timing chip in the transition area.

Bike Route

After leaving the Transition area, athletes head north on Mt. Bernard before turning left on to Herald Ave.
Cyclists make a sharp right through the Fortis Building parking lot, then through the intersection to Griffin Drive.
The route will continue on Griffin Drive until the turnaround near Boland's Ave.
At this point, athletes will head back towards the Transition area where they will complete their first lap.

Full Triathlon & Full Distance Team Events
  • Athletes will complete four 10km laps of the bike route.
  • Athletes will dismount bikes at dismount zone and walk them into the transition area.
  • Team participants will hand off the timing chip in the transition area.
Sprint Triathlon & Sprint Distance Team Events
  • Athletes will complete two 10km laps of the bike route.
  • Athletes will dismount bikes at dismount zone and walk them into the transition area.
  • Team participants will hand off the timing chip in the transition area.
Full Distance Duathlon
  • Athletes will complete four 10km laps of the bike route.
  • Athletes will dismount bikes at dismount zone and walk them into the transition area.
Sprint Distance Duathlon
  • Athletes will complete two 10km laps of the bike route.
  • Athletes will dismount bikes at dismount zone and walk them into the transition area.

Run Route

Athletes will exit the Transition area and head east on the paved O'Connell Dr. sidewalk. They will then proceed to the turn around at the Army building. Here athletes will head back the widely paved sidewalk across the walking bridge, and along the paved path towards the Sir Richard Squires Building - thus completing their first lap (2 km).

For half laps (completed as the last lap) athletes will turn around before crossing the bridge on O'Connell Dr.

Full Triathlon & Full Distance Team Events
  • Athletes will complete five 2km laps of the run route.
  • All athletes will proceed up the finish chute on their last lap.
Sprint Triathlon & Sprint Distance Team Events
  • Athletes will complete 2 and ½ 2km laps of the run route.
  • All athletes will proceed up the finish chute on their last lap.
Full Distance Duathlon
  • Athletes will start in the transition area and do five laps of the run course (2km).
  • After the bike portion athletes will complete 2 and ½ 2km laps of the run route.
  • All athletes will proceed up the finish chute on their last lap.
Sprint Distance Duathlon
  • Athletes will start in the transition area and do 1 and ½ laps of the run course (2km).
  • After the bike portion athletes will complete 2 and ½ 2km laps of the run route.
  • All athletes will proceed up the finish chute on their last lap.
